a LUXURY retreat
sitting room friendly staff
The maisonette spanned two floors. it included a sitting room, toilet, and rainforest shower downstairs, and a large bedroom upstairs. we were particularly impressed by the staff. They were friendly and professional throughout our stay.
I arrived early after being advised rooms were often ready. my room was not ready until later. this delayed plans for a spa appointment, A key reason for the stay.

uneven experience
missing desktop pale carpet
the parking was adequate.
the room lacked a proper desk or dressing table , and there was no surface space in the bathroom to place toiletries. i also noted the absence of a chair, only an upholstered stool. corridors were carpeted with a pale tan carpet that showed marks easily.

lovely stay
sustainability effort comfortable bed relaxing place
The hotel strives for sustainability and cares for the environment. the bed and pillows were super comfortable. there were also lots of places to sit and relax. They had board games, chess, and checkers.
the waiter broke the cork on the expensive wine we had.

the hotel location is right next to a stream. it is not far from the beach and a town. parking is accessible, though it requires a short walk. unloading before the entrance is convenient.

the spa is beautiful and relaxing. breakfast was delicious. I was impressed with the many choices available. my room had a veranda facing the woods. i could hear pheasants and owls at night. the staff members were friendly and cute. i feel rested!
